Raw Chocolate Cooking class

My next cooking class at Kitchen to Table is Raw Chocolate! Yum!

When made without processed sugar and trans fats, chocolate is a particularly healthy food to eat. Great news...

In this class, you will learn how to make your own chocolate at home, without all the nasties.

Our chocolate will be based on ingredients such as raw cacao, cacao nibs, nuts, cacao butter, coconut oil and a various natural sweeteners other than sugar.

While making our treats, we will discuss the benefits of raw cacao, coconut products, healthy fats and ‘super foods’ such as maca and lucuma.

We will make a simple rich, raw chocolate recipe. You can use this as a base to experiment with flavours. Other recipes include coconut truffles and raw cacao ice-cream.

There's only 6 spots on Friday and 6 spots on Saturday. This is such a lovely size and means we can be really hands-on.
Learn to appreciate chocolate in its more pure form - How chocolate is meant to be!

Friday 24th or Saturday 25th of May. 9.30 - 11.30am.
The class will be held at Kitchen to Table, 2/22 Coldstream Street, Yamba
$60 per person. Contact Kitchen to Table on 02 6646 8857 to book.
